Committed to Growth

Have you ever been inspired to set a resolution goal for yourself at the beginning of the year to only find that you lose your commitment and energy?

70 days ago I was challenged by our Maxwell Leadership team to participate in 75 hard challenge.

Day 70 of 75 Hard
Day 70 of 75 Hard

This challenge is not for the week. It is about mindset.

The rules are simple yet hard.

You must participate in two 45 minute workouts each day. And one must be outside. (strategic planning looking at the weather and monitoring your schedule accordingly.) TIME MANAGEMENT

No cheat meals or alcohol (not a hard one for me at all)

Must follow a diet (i added one salad a day)

You must take a photograph for your progress every day. Easy

You must read 10 pages of a nonfiction book (this has been the hardest for me because I am never in one place for a long time and by the time I sit down, I’m tired). I have read so much material. I am equipped to now share those lessons.

You must drink 1 gallon of water every day (this by far I thought would be the biggest challenge for me however restructuring how you see a gallon of water has helped me tremendously. It has changed my mindset. I carry around a 33 L bottle and I fill it four times. I’ve surprised myself because some days I have finished my gallon of water by lunchtime.

so let me ask you,

Would you or have you ever done this challenge and how did it change you on the inside?

How did you adjust to the changes?

Did you prepare for the challenge or did you just jump right in like I did not really understanding how much commitment it would take on your part?

You see what this has taught me is I’m always adaptable and ready for change because I have enjoyed every hard moment and learning the lesson/ lessons from it.

What I’ve also realized is that what I believe in every day consistency includes the challenges for my own health. It’s not about three days at the gym or 20 minutes twice a week or counting my calories, and allowing myself to feel fear or rewards for the kinds of foods that I’m eating. It is about every day discipline. That’s the only thing that works for me. After all, I believe Everyday Leaders make the biggest impact because they are committed to their goals, their habits and their impact every day.

Are you ready to go to the next level with something in your life?

Let’s connect: Book a strategy call with me and let’s tackle that BIG GOAL and project you are trying to accomplish. I’ll help you build daily accountability so that you can be guaranteed to reach it.

Schedule your strategy call right here right now. Don’t wait another day.

You can do anything you set your mind to. It’s not what you do in a day. It’s what you do every day that makes the most impact!
