When I was 11, returning from the summer traveling with my grandparents to several camp meetings around the country, I was introduced to Jerry Brown, who at 27 years old would become my step-father. Now I don’t know about you but when I think back to being 27 years old, there are not very many people in the world that would have the capacity to make this type of commitment.
