We have been selected as community leaders to help our new chamber members connect to resources and events and foster ideas together. The membership for our community has grown by over 200 members since last year, and our Ambassador Leader, Lisa Stokes, keeps us engaged and connected to serve our members. When we come together, we can serve with such a greater capacity!
The photo above is our monthly women's networking event, open to all women who can grow through relationships, new ideas, and community-building. We meet on the first Wednesday every month from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for networking and personal and professional development. We have learned from some incredible speakers over the last year who have graciously spent their time and talents with us. One year ago this month, Angie Redmon, SHRM-SCP, PHR, and I decided to take this group back from Virtual to IN PERSON. Amber Fields kicked off our "back in person" meeting, which has launched us into our entire year of consistency.
We have now grown to over 40 attendees!
And with growth comes growing pains. Over the last year, we have moved this group to several locations to find the right place to call "home." We were truly looking to find the right partner with the right vision to grow with. We are so grateful to JPtheGeek in Greenwood for providing this new space to grow together.
I want to challenge you today to think about how you are investing your time in what you are doing. If you are stuck against a wall or having a creative block, step back and develop a new strategy that includes others in your plans.
Try new ideas to inspire and include others.
Don't wait to grow when it's the right time.
Don't wait until everything is perfect.
✅ Stopping growth stops clarity.
✅ With out growth you stop participation.
✅ Without growth you stop confidence.
✅ Without growth-everything Stops potential.
I encourage you to keep growing if you are starting something new. Create consistency to gain clarity, confidence, and courage to know the next steps!
