Hey Everyday Leaders,
Have you ever had the opportunity to dig through old “things” and some of your family says “awe just throw that away” and others like me say “WOW this needs to go into a museum”.
The Evangelistic Center was located at 3518 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN 46227. The property was sold and Bethany Village now owns the property and has rebuilt the land to accommodate their plans.
Today this photo above came up on Facebook as a memory that I found when we were cleaning out my grandparents home last summer.
The legacy of building community has always been a part of who I am. This was my great grandfathers vision to build an evangelistic center to include a home for the aged, a tabernacle and church for worship, a school, and a clinic. It was the first documented nursing home in Indiana. Ministers from all over the country would come here each Sunday to preach with my great grandfather.
This is why I love to challenge people and programs to strive for excellence in everything they do.
Just because you’ve never done it, doesn’t mean it can’t be done and it can’t serve others.
I share today's photo as a challenge for you to “connect your dots” and discover what your legacy is.
I am so proud to have memories to fill my heart with servant leadership values from as far back as five generations.
If you need help to connect your dots, re-align your passion, and understand your hearts purpose, reach out. I can help you with the next steps to start figuring it out.
